CivicPlus Awarded 11 New Contracts to Design Government Websites

Cities & Counties Across the U.S. Select CivicPlus to Increase Online Community Engagement

MANHATTAN, KS – (August 15, 2011) CivicPlus, a national leader in open government technology, was awarded 11 new contracts in the past two weeks with city and county officials from across the U.S. who seek to increase citizen engagement, government accountability and operational efficiencies.

The company has been engaged to develop and design new websites for White Plains, NY; Lindsay, OK; and Monroe, WI. The Greenwood-Laflore-Carroll (MS) Economic Development Foundation, Idaho Association of Counties, Illinois Chapter of the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials, Pueblo (CO) Motorsports Park and Pueblo (CO) Senior Resource Development Agency also have chosen CivicPlus to help them communicate more effectively with constituents. In addition, Litchfield Park, AZ, and Ovilla and Wichita Falls, TX have selected CivicPlus to redesign and refresh the look of their existing websites.

CivicPlus has designed more than 900 local government websites serving more than 31.6 million citizens throughout North America. So far this year, 21 national, international and statewide awards have been presented to CivicPlus clients for website design and features.
