The City of Brookings has unveiled a newly redesigned website, www.cityofbrookings .org.

Developed in partnership with CivicPlus, the new website offers a bold new design and up-to-date information, according to city officials . The goal is to improve citizen engagement , said City Clerk Shari Thornes in a press release Tuesday.

"This is another step in having an open government which also showcases our community ," Mayor Tim Reed added. "Our goal for the new website was to create a userfriendly , timely, personally engaging and functional website. I feel we have " surpassed our goal."
